Points: My life for the past week

I know I should have written snippets on some days, but got busy (not really) with life! hehehe

First highlight of this week, babysat my 6 year old nephew. After doing his homework, we played Mossery’s Impromptu (click the photo for the product link!) We laughed a lot at our drawings, and we both enjoyed this game. Good activity for the youngster too!

Got really stressed at some point this week, so of course, I deserved a good lunch at work! This is Fumizen‘s Gyudon set which included some side dishes I’ve already eaten (hence, not a good photo), miso soup, and the gyudon! I used to not be a fan of miso soup. It’s usually left untouched whenever I eat in Japanese restaurants. But overtime, kind of gotten used to its taste, now I find it delicious haha!

Also tried this Cheese Salmon Aburi Maki Roll. Tried only 1 piece and did not find anything special about it though.

Also watched The Whale starring Brendan Fraser and bawled my eyes out after that blinding white light at the end of the film. I would make a post about it at a later time. And also watched Everything, Everywhere, All At Once for the second time, and I still teared up.

Ended the week by spending time with my Manu Big Boy!

Points: To Try

First time to eat sukiyaki! πŸ₯˜

I was really craving for sushibakes, but through my endless browsing, I ended up with Fukurou Nihonryori‘s page at the Grab Food App πŸ˜…. I enjoy eating hot pot (not obvious by now eh?), so I got intrigued by sukiyaki. Of course, I had to google the dish pa! The soup was rich, and there were lots of sliced beef, and vegetables! Shared it with my nephew and niece. πŸ˜‹

Sushi Box A- Comprised of their Fukurou Roll, Fried Maki, Tamago Maki, and Salmon Sashimi

Overall, my family and I enjoyed the food. I will surely be dining in here next time! Hopefully, with the one who sponsored my food craving! πŸ₯°

Points: Takoyaki

Got pissed with my Gyudon order for lunch because it’s not worth 229 pesos! But happy with this one though! πŸ˜‹

Some points to remember today…

I’m happy this morning because my boyfriend, Manu and I had a video call. And my mom was able to meet Manu too! She asked him where the Philippines is, which is her usual icebreaker question with kids πŸ˜….

I got invited in a round table discussion during dinnertime about a new antihypertensive drug. Grateful to colleagues for thinking of me.

Even grateful for the drive home which only took 45 minutes!! Hurray πŸ₯³
